Here are the steps.

Before you can use Google Maps to share location, you must first enable your Google Maps location sharing ability in your phone.

ENABLE LOCATION SHARING ON YOUR PHONE

Step 1

In your phone, go to Settings

Step 2

In your Settings, go to “Location”

Step 3

Change the Location settings to “Always”

This would enable your location to be shared in real-time

You can always change the settings back

LOCATION SHARING USING GOOGLE MAPS

Step 1

On your phone, go to Google Maps

Step 2

In your Google Maps, tap at the profile icon

Step 3

At Google Maps settings, tap at “Location sharing”

Step 4

Choose the amount of time your location sharing will be available

Tap at “Select People”

Step 5

Choose the people you want to share the location

You can also send location using Email or social media platform here

You can share the location via the link or via Email

People with this link can see your phone’s location in real-time
